CENTER BARNSTEAD- Michael J. Conway, 49, of Center Barnstead formerly of Connecticut, passed away on October 25, 2020.

Born in Winsted, CT, Mike was the son of the late Edward J. and Janet V. (Phillips) Conway.  He was raised and educated in East Hartland, CT and was a graduate of The Gilbert School Class of 1989.

Mike went on to attend the Police Academy and in 1994, joined the New Britain Police Department.  He proudly and bravely served the community of New Britain for many years with his brothers and sisters until his retirement in 2011. 

In 2016, Mike and his family moved to New Hampshire to begin a new chapter in their lives. 

For the past year, he was employed as an Operations Manager for 2A Tactical in Barrington, NH.  Mike’s life revolved around his family.  Above all else, he cherished spending time with his sons.  He also enjoyed hiking, bicycling, watching horror movies and was an avid Iron Maiden fan.  He was especially proud of his Irish heritage.

Mike is survived by his wife, Danielle E. (Murphy) Conway; his two sons, Liam Edward and Dylan Paul; his sister, Lorraine Morelli of Granby, CT; his brother-in-law, Nate Murphy and his wife Lisa of Northwood; his uncle, Clifton Phillips of Franklin, MA as well as many cousins and his two nephews.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st from 2 to 4 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  In accordance with state and local guidelines, all attendees must wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing as directed.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the college education of Mike and Danielle’s children at gf.me/u/y6iudu.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
