MUNSON, Ruth Ann – of Birch Run, age 76, died Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her residence. Private family services will be held. Pastor Steve Schilke officiating. Burial in Cook Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hurley Children’s Foundation in memory of grandson Wade. Ruth was born March 11, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Allen and Louise (Byers) Schramm. She grew up in Shields, Michigan and graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1962. On August 24, 1963 she married Duane Munson in Saginaw, Michigan. Ruth enjoyed camping, traveling, canning and going to the casino. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth attended and cheered on all of her grandchildren at their sporting events. She volunteered at several community projects over the years. Surviving are: Husband of 57 years Duane Munson; Children, Heidii (Philip) Periard, Wendy (Jeffrey) Wachowicz, Dewey (Angelia) Munson; Grandchildren, Tyler (Tracy) Periard, Samantha (Daniel) Lubelan, Elizabeth (Andrew) DeHate, William Periard, Ashley (Benjamin) Kulwicki, Allison Wachowicz, Jeffrey Wachowicz, Wyatt (Emily) Munson; Great Grandchildren, Quinn Periard, Blair Periard, Bo Periard, Wren Periard, Meredith Lubelan, Daniel Lubelan, Ivan DeHate, Baby Boy DeHate, Luella Kulwicki; Sister, Nora Sienko. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Grandson, Wade Munson; Siblings, Gene Luark, Carol Luark, Allen Schramm, Susan Paquette.
