<p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>WATSON</strong></span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Eric Watson of Rimbey, AB passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital on Sunday October 25, 2020 at the age of 92 after a challenging battle with Cancer.&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 16px; font-family: &quot;lucida sans unicode&quot;, &quot;lucida grande&quot;, sans-serif;">Eric was born in High River, AB. Met and married his sweetheart, Audrey Sewell from Herronton, AB. Eric was a carpenter by trade, building many houses in the area over the years while they also farmed just West of High River. They had two children, Tracy and Trudy, who grew up enjoying the many benefits of farm life. In 1973 the family moved to a ranch at Alder Flats where Eric semi retired. They became snow birds and enjoyed many years in Arizona where they made friends from all over North America.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 16px; font-family: &quot;lucida sans unicode&quot;, &quot;lucida grande&quot;, sans-serif;">They moved to Rimbey Valleyview Manor several years ago where they enjoyed the great benefits of senior living, making many new friends that they cherished.&nbsp; Eric&rsquo;s greatest passion was his love of His Savior, Jesus, and loved to share his faith with those around him.&nbsp; Eric will be remembered by his wife, Audrey of 72 years, his son Tracy (Terry) Watson, their children Sherice (Omar) their children Elisa and Emerson, Shawn (Alex) their children Jayde and Renn, Shaylene (Chris) their children Kinley and Arie. Eric&rsquo;s daughter Trudy (Allyn) Lee, his grandchildren Wade (Tanya) Lee, Michelle Lee and 4 great-grandchildren Caleb, Gavyn, Eve and Lydia.&nbsp; He is also survived by his sister MaryLou Meringer in Ontario and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.&nbsp; At Eric&rsquo;s request cremation has taken place and his ashes will be spread at the ranch on Wolf Creek at a later date.</span></p>

Eric Watson of Rimbey, AB passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital on Sunday October 25, 2020 at the age of 92 after a challenging battle with Cancer. 

Eric was born in High River, AB. Met and married his sweetheart, Audrey Sewell from Herronton, AB. Eric was a carpenter by trade, building many houses in the area over the years while they also farmed just West of High River. They had two children, Tracy and Trudy, who grew up enjoying the many benefits of farm life. In 1973 the family moved to a ranch at Alder Flats where Eric semi retired. They moved to Rimbey Valleyview Manor several years ago where they enjoyed the great benefits of senior living, making many new friends that they cherished.  Eric’s greatest passion was his love of His Savior, Jesus, and loved to share his faith with those around him.  Eric will be remembered by his wife, Audrey of 72 years, his son Tracy (Terry) Watson, their children Sherice (Omar) their children Elisa and Emerson, Shawn (Alex) their children Jayde and Renn, Shaylene (Chris) their children Kinley and Arie.
