Portland- Richard “Dick” Durgin passed away peacefully October 23, 2020. He was born July 6, 1951 the son of Gordon and Rosleyn Durgin and second Mom, Phyllis Smith.
Dick served in the U.S. Army for two years where he received his diploma. He was employed with Cianbro and Robinson Manufacturing for 15 years. Dick retired two years ago with Midwest Price.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and his buddy Rosco.
He is survived by the love of his life Mary; son Rick Durgin and wife Tammy; Son Gordon Durgin and companion Jen Leonard; and daughter Becky Smith and husband Wayne; grandchildren Dakota, Dylan, Reegan, Brooklyn Smith, Sarah Annance, Logan and Cali; great grandson Connor; brother Kevin Pike and wife Joyce; sisters Donna Osgood and Gretta George. He was predeceased by his parents.
At Dick’s request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
