LuAnn Wickham Obituary

A Loving Mother, Dedicated Teacher, Sister and Friend to many, returned to her heavenly home. LuAnn was born July 23, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert and Barbara Bettridge Wickham. She attended Glendale Elementary and Glendale Jr. High. She graduated from South High in 1979 and Utah State University to become an Elementary School Teacher. 

LuAnn participated in Pepclub, Choir and Athletics. She loved to play basketball and was a softball pitcher for many years. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh! She also loved to dance and enjoyed every moment she could. Elvis, Michael Jackson and Boys II Men were always favorites.

LuAnn had the biggest heart. She always fought for what she believed in with so much fire. She was so passionate and full of dreams, never letting any obstacle deter her!

She loved her daughter Alex with everything she had and never went a day without letting her know. She was always good with children and taught many throughout the years.

LuAnn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony. She served a mission to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

LuAnn is survived by: her daughter Alexandra (Jake Worden and sons Ashton & Damian); siblings Mark, Carolee (Bruce), Joyce, Brent (Jana), Bruce, Lorilyn (Brandon) and sister-in-law Jodi, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her former husband Arthel Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Barbara, her daughter BreAnn and her brothers Ward and Wayne. 

Services will be held at noon, Friday, October 30, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 25th Ward Chapel located at 1145 West 500 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 with visiting prior to the services from 11:00 AM to noon. 

Burial will be at the Valley View Memorial Park located at 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley, UT 84120

Due to COVID-19 please remember to bring a mask and to consider social distancing as we proceed with the funeral.
