George R Schmidt Jr., 57, if Attica passed away suddenly on May 22, 2017. He was born on December 20, 1959 in Batavia to the late George R. Schmidt Sr. and Fern (Whitcomb) Schmidt of Attica. He was a long time resident of Attica, NY and California. He was a graduate of Attica High School and Northwood University of Michigan. George worked for many years as a car salesman for Upstate Chevy in Attica. Surviving family is his Mother; Fern (Whitcomb) Schmidt of Attica; sisters Brenda (Schmidt) Rosenthal of Florida and Judy (Schmidt) King of Attica; his nieces Shauna (Brian) Marsceill of Elba, Miranda King of Attica, Rachel Werner of Florida and nephews Gary Hancock of Attica and Danny Hancock of Florida; 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew. There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
