Our loving father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Age 80 years. David was born on March 16, 1940, son of the late Quentin and Maxine (Holt) Carpenter, in Flint. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1958 and was an outstanding football player. David went on to complete the X-Ray Technician program through Hurley Medical Center. He retired from Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, as the Radiology Department Manager, after many years of service. David enjoyed watching all sports, was an avid U of M Fan and spending time with his family. David will be missed by his sons, Shane and Stephen Carpenter; daughter, Kara Tischler; his grandchildren, Riley, Brenden, Gavin, Sebastian, Damien, Alexis, Colin and Ella; his sister, Joan Dzuba; many nieces and nephews. Honoring David’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will not be any services scheduled.
