It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Barry George Pearton of Roblin, MB who passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his family in Brandon, MB on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the age of 68 years. 

Barry was born on February 12, 1952 in Roblin, MB to parents George and Odetta Pearton (nee Andrews). He grew up in Roblin and attended school there. As a young man he drove truck, was a mechanic and was also a heavy equipment operator. In 1973, he met the love of his life, Mariann Nowosad, and in 1974 they were married. Their first daughter, Barbara was born followed by Carla. 

Barry was a hard worker, he was a loving, kindhearted and generous man. You could always count on him for anything, he was the “rock” in the family. He cherished his daughters and grandchildren. Barry always ensured that his grandkids received a birthday cake from Grandma and Grandpa on their birthdays. He and Mariann constantly helped one another. He loved working with Mariann whether it was baking or doing dishes. They were a true team. Second, only to his family, were his innumerable friends. Barry loved to socialize and coffee with his friends. He always took time to visit and spend time with friends. Just like for his family, friends could always count on Barry, he would do anything for anyone.   

Barry is survived by his beloved wife, Mariann; daughters, Barbara (Craig) Ziebart and Carla (Danny) Fifi; grandchildren, Logan, Hayden, Shyla, Dylan and Abbie; brother, Murray (Daphne) Pearton; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and countless friends. 

Barry was predeceased by his parents, George and Odetta Pearton; brothers, Edward and Brian.

Barry will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
