<p>Marilyn Ruetz Dehnbostel was born in Napoleon, Ohio on August 28, 1927. She has been a resident of Diamondhead, MS for the past 31 years having lived previously in Ohio, Maryland and Louisiana.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> After graduating from Napoleon High School, she attended the Ohio State University. In 1948 she was married to Howard Dehnbostel and they celebrated 72 years together recently. Confirmed in the Lutheran church she was a member of churches in Ohio, Maryland, New Orleans, Long Beach, and at the time of her death Lutheran Church of the Pines, Waveland, MS.<br /> <br /> Mrs. Dehnbostel was a member of the Diamondhead Women&rsquo;s Golf Association Nines, P.E.O. Chapter T and a member of the Monday morning Sew and Sew group.<br /> <br /> She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Mildred Babcock Ruetz; and her brother, Alfred.<br /> <br /> Marilyn is survived by her husband, Howard; sons, Bruce (Gemma) of Maitland, FL, Craig (Heidi) of Columbia, MD, Mark (Katie) of Daytona Beach, FL; daughters, Mary (Douglas) Durant of Paynesville, MN and Laura (Andrew) Foret of Belle Chasse, LA; six grandchildren, Laura, Kyle, Michelle, Sarah, Andrew and Mallory; four great grandchildren, Owen, Luke, Hailey and Ellie; step sister, Marlene Fast of Gainesville, FL; and step brother, Walter Hougland of Napoleon, OH.<br /> <br /> A private graveside service will be held in Biloxi National Cemetery.<br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial to be sent to the Salvation Army.<br /> <br /> Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian is serving the family.</p>

After graduating from Napoleon High School, she attended the Ohio State University. In 1948 she was married to Howard Dehnbostel and they celebrated 72 years together recently.
