Gerald "Jerry" Hodorowski, 85, of Haines City, Florida, died peacefully on October 25, 2020 after a brief struggle with cancer. Jerry is survived by his daughters Jeri Ann Harley, Kara Hodorowski, and Amy Teachworth; grandsons, Jason (Jessica) Harley, Brad (Megan) Teachworth; Eric Teachworth; four great grandchildren, Hunter, Isabella, Brady and Ella; and numerous relatives and close friends. Jerry was predeceased by his wife of 58 years Phyllis Hodorowski; his parents Frank and Eva Hodorowski; and sister Florence Widejewski. A funeral service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit on Monday prior to the service from from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lapeer with Military Honors performed by the auspices of American Legion Post #16 Lapeer. Memorial donations to McLaren Hospice are greatly appreciated.
