Helen Louise Smith

Helen Louise Smith, age 79 of Flint, passed away on October 25, 2020. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 20, 1941, to the late Roosevelt Smith and Essie Boozeman. Helen was a longtime resident at the Granada House in Flint, MI. She enjoyed her soul food, fried chicken and collard greens. She would often dress up in jazzy attire and she loved Motown music. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Helen will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lapeer. Memorial donations to the Granada House, 7088 Granada Lane, Flint, MI 48532.
