<p><strong>Graveside services for Myron K. &ldquo;Cricket&rdquo; Summer, 84, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Union Lutheran Church Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation will follow the graveside service.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA.&nbsp; Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel, is assisting the family.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp; Mr. Summer died Monday October 26, 2020.&nbsp; Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Sammy and Effie Price Summer and was a member of Union Lutheran Church.&nbsp; He retired from Monsanto and was a US Air Force Veteran.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp; Survivors include a son, Erwin Summer (Anne), daughters, Wanda Tucker (Jason) and Cindy Heyward (Wayne), brother, Douglas Summer (Ann), 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp; He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Connelly Summer, daughter, Nora Jean Summer, brother, Clovis Summer and sister,Daphne Monts.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Graveside services for Myron K. “Cricket” Summer, 84, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Union Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Visitation will follow the graveside service.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA.  Barr-Price Funeral Home, Historic B-L Chapel, is assisting the family.

  Mr. Summer died Monday October 26, 2020.  Born in Saluda County, he was a son of the late Sammy and Effie Price Summer and was a member of Union Lutheran Church.  He retired from Monsanto and was a US Air Force Veteran.

  Survivors include a son, Erwin Summer (Anne), daughters, Wanda Tucker (Jason) and Cindy Heyward (Wayne), brother, Douglas Summer (Ann), 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
