John Forrest Peek, Sr., 82, passed away peacefully at his home on October 24, 2020 in Houston, Texas. John was born on June 8, 1938 in Harlingen, Texas to parents Forrest Moore and Temple Barbara (Hale) Peek. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. John was a mechanic for many years, with a passion for hot rods and antique vehicles. He always had a story to tell, and enjoyed sharing them with anyone who would listen. If you knew John, you knew if he liked you or not, without question. His memory and many stories will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. John is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Beverly Linda Peek. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Peek, Jr. and wife Deana; sisters, Susie Davis, Shirley Collins; grandson, Trey Peek; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends. A celebration of John’s life will be held at his home at a later date.Obituary
