<p>Bob&nbsp;Funkhouser, 90, resident of Eldorado passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Bob was born in Eldorado to the late Ira and Lola (Carpenter) Funkhouser. On January 1, 1970 he married the former Brenda Kay Kittinger who survives. Bob served in the US Air Force from 1951-1955 and then worked in the Chrysler Missile Plant in Detroit, MI. Later he earned a degree in Electronics Repair and became a certified RCA repairman. He went on to become a City Mail Carrier in Eldorado. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother: Helen Funkhouser. Graveside services with military rites will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no visitation, those attending should go directly to the cemetery. Rev. Robert Thompson and Dr. Rico Esgeurra will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Eldorado VFW Post 169 Funeral Honor Guard Fund or the Wounded Warrior Project and will be accepted at the cemetery.
