<p>Mr. Uless Edwards, 78, of Cana, VA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October 24, 2020.&nbsp; He was born September 10, 1942, in Carroll County, VA, to the late Clark and Bertha Akers Edwards.&nbsp; Mr. Edwards was a kind, gentle man with a strong love for his family.&nbsp; After working in various auto body shops, Uless opened his own, where he continued to work until retirement.&nbsp; Because of his dedication to his community, Mr. Edwards was a member of the Cana Volunteer Fire Department and one of the charter members of the Cana Volunteer Rescue Squad.&nbsp; He was a long-time member of Paul&rsquo;s Creek Baptist Church, but recently he was attending Crooked Oak Moravian Church.&nbsp; He was a Past Master of Round Peak Masonic Lodge #616 AF and AM.&nbsp; Mr. Edwards is survived by his loving wife, Ruthie Easter Edwards; a son, Jeffrey Keith Edwards and his wife, Charity, along with their children, Isaiah and Jude; a son, Michael Shane Edwards and his wife, Shawna, and her children, Morgan Williams and Abby Leonard; a sister, Brenda Gould; and a brother, Benny Edwards.&nbsp; In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by two sisters, Mazie Berrier and Dot Schurter; and three brothers, Willie, Charles, and Vaudy Edwards.&nbsp; A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2:00 at Crooked Oak Moravian with Rev. Gary Easter officiating.&nbsp; Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Round Peak Masonic Lodge #616 AF &amp; AM. Due to the current health concerns everyone attending is encouraged to please wear a mask. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.</p>
