Peacefully at the St. Partick’s Home, Ottawa on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at the age of 86 years. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Claude (Germaine), Huguette and Marguerite (Steven). Predeceased by her parents Alexandre and Marie Louise Brunet (née Marleau), and by her siblings Raymond, Noël, Gertrude, Laurette, Rita, Fleurette and Aline. Lucette will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Lucette was born and raised in Glen Robertson and attended high school in Alexandria. She worked most of her career at Bell Canada in Montreal until retirement in 1999. She was well known for her musical talents in the area. A visitation with controlled attendance will be held at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, ON (613-525-2772) on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 7 – 9 pm and on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Église Sacré Coeur, Alexandria on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 11 am, followed by interment in St. Justine de Newton Cemetery, QC. Masks must be worn inside the Funeral Home and Church and physical distancing is required. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lucette, a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
