Fa'asegi J. Te'o Spanaway, Washington Obituary

Fa'asegi J. Te'o

Fa’asegi Julie Te’o, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and fierce prayer warrior was called home by our Heavenly Father on October 22, 2020. Born in American Samoa to Fa’avaivai Te’o, Jr. and the late Olita Togia’ilua, she was the second of their three children. Named after her father’s older sister and her mother’s best friend, Fa’asegi is described by many as a loving, selfless, generous, spirited soul who was beautiful inside and out. She was passionate about her faith and was unafraid to take every opportunity to share her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Though her passing was unexpected and leaves an aching void in so many hearts, we take solace knowing that she is rejoicing with her Heavenly Father and has been reunited with her mom, Papa, cousins, and many other loved ones who had gone before. Segi is survived by her father, older brother Fa’afetai, and her younger sister and best friend Fa’alolo’i, along with her nephew/ second son Conan, cousins, aunts, uncles, and her cherished son Ezekiel Ieti Su’a. Everyone who had been blessed to know her knows that Ezekiel was the world to her. She was a great mom who made it her life’s mission to make sure that Ezekiel knew how much he was loved. Manuia lau malaga, Segi. We will cherish and keep you in our hearts always. Segi’s Celebration of Life is on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 10:00am at the Fir Lane Chapel, 924 East 176th Street, Spanaway, WA 98387. We kindly ask everyone’s patience and understanding, as COVID-19 requirements will be observed.
