Alisha Marie Pribble Obituary

Alisha Marie Pribble was born on April 30, 1982, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Alisha and her mother, Luana Pribble, soon after she was born, moved to Stillwater, MN to live closer to family.  In 1990, Brian Taylor became her Stepdad.  The family moved to Alexandria in 1995, and Alisha graduated from Jefferson High School in 2000.

In 2002, Alisha was blessed with a son, Devon.  Alisha worked as a bartender and waitress at various restaurants, including the Depot, VFW and the Eagles.  In 2010, Alisha and Devon moved to Osage for a couple years, then returned back to Alexandria.  Alisha traveled to the University of Minnesota Morris to earn an associate’s degree in both psychology and sociology in 2015.  She had a love of helping people, especially the elderly.  Alisha was in the process of earning her bachelor’s degree in these areas as well.

Alisha was outgoing, social, loved being with friends, and was always willing to help anyone.  She loved going for motorcycle rides and taking road trips with Devon to go check out local museums and find out about the towns history.  Alisha’s faith was strong and she made it a priority to be in church every Tuesday for Mass with Devon.  She was also active with many organizations in the community including Relay for Life, Adopt-a-Highway, Alexandria Helping Hands, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and food drives.

Alisha died on Friday, October 23, 2020, at her home in Alexandria at the age of 38.  She is survived by her son, Devon Marsh of Alexandria; parents, Luana (Brian) Taylor of Alexandria; sister, Jessica (Shawn) Olson of Alexandria; niece, Aurora Olson; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Faye Pribble of Stillwater; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Alisha is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fern and Webster Taylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria.  Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Anderson Funeral Home and from 9:30-10:30 on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at the funeral home prior to the service.
