Emin, Mitchell Bernard – 58 of Halifax.

Born in Annapolis Royal on June 29, 1962, he is the son of Dorothy Amirault and the late Victor Emin. In addition to his mother, Mitch is survived by his husband Roy Hanson, son Devin Emin (Megan) of Dartmouth, daughter Brittney Emin of Edmonton, AB; step-mother Molly Emin of Middleton; granddaughters Kayleigh, Brooklyn and Claire, brother Daniel (Michelle) Emin of Digby, niece Kristen (Adam) Sabean and nephews: Jeffery (Melissa) Salter and Nicholas (Misty) Salter. Sister-in-law, Jean (Greg) Salter. Grand Nieces and nephews Kylie, Ben, Emily, Alison, Kaylynn, and Logan.

Besides his father, Mitch is predeceased by his niece Kristy Salter.

Mitch was a caring husband, father, grand-father, brother, uncle, and friend who when healthy was a determined entrepreneur. Sadly, he succumbed to multiple sclerosis and died peacefully with his family surrounding him on October 24, 2020. Mitch’s remains will be interred at a private graveside service.
