Betty Harrison Hall, of Gulfport, MS and formerly of Jackson, passed away at her residence on October 22, 2020, three days before her 88th birthday She was born in Tallahatta Springs on October 25, 1932 to John Turner Harrison, Sr. and Daisy Bagley Harrison. She married her high school sweetheart, Billy Frank Hall in June of 1951 and for the next four years, she was an Air Force wife. After that, she spent the next 47 years as the wife of a United Methodist minister where she graciously served by her husband’s side. She was a wonderful cook, hostess, housekeeper, gardener and Mom to her three “girls.” She was a substitute teacher and an assistant in classrooms for children with special needs.<br><br>She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Billy Frank Hall and siblings, John Harrison, Trice Harrison ad Ted Harrison.<br><br>She is survived by her three daughters, Delise (Richard) Sanders, Kaye (Thomas) Green, Andrea (James) Burgin; eight grandchildren, Cori Sanders Powell, Caron Sanders (Josh) Kirk, Gary (Allie) Sanders, Shannon Smith Brown, Kristye Smith (Jerry) Morton, Heather Smith (Matt) Davis, Tyler Loper, Jessica Loper; 15 great-grandchildren and one great, great-granddaughter. She was proud of each of them and loved them unconditionally. She had many cousins, nieces and nephews and four sisters-in-law, Jonell Harrison, Faye Harrison, Reba Horton and Joye Hall Graham<br><br>A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with longtime family friend, Dr. David McLean, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson and end at 10:40 a.m. with a processional to the cemetery.<br><br>Pallbearers will be Gary Sanders, Richard Sanders, Joshua Kirk, James Burgin, Thomas Green, Jerry Morton, David Harrison and Shawn Harrison.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The First United Methodist Church of Jackson Children’s Home account.<br><br>Condolences may be offered at www.lathanfuneralhome.com.<br>
