<p>Louise Sanchez&nbsp;Baca, age 96, passed away on the morning of Friday, October 23, 2020.</p> <p>Louise was born in Puerto De Luna, New Mexico on February 13, 1924.</p> <p>Louise is preceded in Heaven by her beloved husband of 43 years, Manuel Gregorio Baca (a World War II veteran), her much loved parents Isidro and Olympia (Cordova) Sanchez, her dearest grandchildren: Isiah, Rodney, Samantha, Jason, daughter-in-law Jennie, as well as her sister Tina, brothers Daniel, Alfonso, Isidro Jr., and Ismael.</p> <p>She is survived by her children: son Mark E. Baca of Albuquerque, New Mexico;&nbsp;daughter Rose Lee and husband Raymond Sandoval&nbsp;of Albuquerque, New Mexico;&nbsp;son Manuel Baca and wife Gloria&nbsp;of Diamond Bar, California;&nbsp;son Richard Baca and wife Susan&nbsp;of Pie Town, New Mexico;&nbsp;son Ben Baca of Las Vegas, Nevada,15 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren. Louise&nbsp;is also survived by her sisters: Dolores Vallejos of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Dora Chavez of Bernalillo,New Mexico; brothers: Bonifacio Sanchez and wife Tina&nbsp;of Bernalillo, New Mexico;&nbsp;Freddie Sanchez and wife Katie&nbsp;of Bernalillo, New Mexico, and many, many nieces and nephews, including her wonderful goddaughter/niece&nbsp;Annie Candelaria and husband Sam&nbsp;of Albuquerque, New Mexico.</p> <p>Louise was loved by everyone who came to know her for her kindness and wonderful spirit.&nbsp;She was a beautiful, devoted mother and an inspiration to her children and grandchildren. She&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;family gatherings to celebrate all occasions. She loved being around people, especially members of her immediate and extended family.&nbsp;In addition to raising her children and doing volunteer work, she was employed for many years as a food service worker at the University of New Mexico and a friendly hostess at the McDonald&rsquo;s Restaurant on 4th Street, retiring at age 87.&nbsp;She found pleasure in attending a variety of events, be it professional wrestling, museums, or cultural celebrations.&nbsp;</p> <p>Louise&#39;s Life Celebration will take place on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 619 Copper Ave NW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am. Mass will follow at 10:00 am.&nbsp;&nbsp;Louise will be laid to rest with her husband Manuel at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00pm.&nbsp; All three events will be Live-streamed via Salazar Mortuary&#39;s Facebook page--please follow the link below.&nbsp; You do NOT need a facebook account to view services.</p> <p>Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Louise&#39;s services.</p> <p>Remembrances and charitable contributions in Louise&rsquo;s name&nbsp;should be directed to Salazar Mortuary, or other as appropriate.</p> <p>Pallbearers will be Ray Junior Sandoval, Katrina Sandoval, Rhonda Sanchez, Paul Baca, Bella Baca, Rose Baca, Alaina Martinez, Ariana Gomez, Ben Baca, Luke Baca, Charly Tipton, and Sam Caldwell.&nbsp;</p>
