Arthur Cooke

Arthur Eugene Cooke was born in Yakima, WA on November 2, 1953 to Louise and Eugene Cooke. He graduated from Ellensburg High School. After graduation, he spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy during which he became a parachute rigger and did one tour in Vietnam. After the Navy, he spent many years driving petroleum and chemical trucks until he retired. Arthur married his wife of 42 years, Jean, in April 1978 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. They lived in Algona, Washington most of their lives together. Arthur is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Melissa; son, Donald; daughter, Pauline Haakenstad; son-in-law, Chris Haakenstad; and grandson, Trent Haakenstad. A Committal Service will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery.
