Mr. Homer Jerry Buchanan, age 86, of Carrollton, GA, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. Mr. Buchanan was born February 19, 1934 in Carroll County, GA, the son of the late Hezekiah Brock Buchanan and Cora Elizabeth Smith Buchanan. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the VFW, AMVETS, and the NRA. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Buford Buchanan and Thomas Buchanan. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Annie S. Buchanan; brothers, Dillard Buchanan and David Buchanan; as well as a host of extended family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
