Richard D. Placer, 64, of Warren, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Continuing Healthcare at the Ridge.  He was born on October 2, 1956 in Warren, the son of Raymond and Dorothy (Ford) Placer, SR.

He received his Bachelors in History and Business at Youngstown State University and Kent State University. 

Rick had previously been employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Ohio.

He was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church in Warren.

Cherished memories of Rick will be carried on by his brother Raymond Placer, Jr, his sister Kathy (Richard) Muresan, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Rick in death were his parents, brothers Robert Placer and Donald Placer, and his sister Donna Daniels.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley. 

The family would like to extend immense thanks and gratitude to the care provided by the Nurses and Clergy of Hospice.
