Dora Anderson Obituary

DORA ANDERSON Our beloved mother Dora Luz Anderson was called home on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Dora was a kind, giving, caring, loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother. She was born and grew up in Mexico. She immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She met and married her husband, late Enrique Anderson Gonzalez and together, they had five children. The late Enrique also had a daughter from a previous marriage and is a big part of the family. Dora loved to travel, she did so often with her daughter Consuelo. She enjoyed making crafts and jewelry, playing loteria, spending time with her siblings and visiting friends at Vita Daycare as well as taking part in events such as Cinco De Mayo Fiestas. Dora’s biggest pride and love, however, is the love she had for her all of her children and grandchildren, she spoke often of them to anyone who would listen. She treasured every moment she spent with each of them and at times traveled as far as Chicago and South Dakota to visit them. She will be missed by many. Mrs. Anderson preceded in death by her husband Enrique Anderson Gonzalez; parents Jose Tamez and Consuelo Garza Rios; siblings Jose Juan Tamez, Margarita Tamez, Jose Eliseo Tamez, Mario Antonio Leal, Brigido Leal, and Maria Isabel Leal.
