Jimmy Cornelius Flowers, 80, of State Road passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was born January 23, 1940 in Rockingham, NC  to Leroy and Versey Cannon Flowers. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; a son Jeffery Flowers; two grandchildren Alexander Cornelius Flowers, and Frank William Grady, Jr; a brother Horace Flowers; and a sister Patricia Flowers. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Becky Flowers; two daughters Denise Johnson (Ben), and Teri Flowers; two sons Paul Flowers (Mary), and Doug Smith; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; two sisters Juanita Crocker, and Marlene Bradshaw. The family will have a private graveside service.
