Rosa Lidia Bodden

Rosa Lidia Bodden, 78, of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rupert M. Bodden; daughter, Rose Marie Chaycoj; son-in-law, Emilio E. Chaycoj; parents, Conrado C. Garcia and Maria Villarreal.

Rosa Lidia Bodden is survived by her children, Rupert F. (Cristina) Bodden, Jo Ann Macias, Eric D. (Veronica) Bodden, Edward (Liliana) Bodden, and Agnes M. (Juan T. Olivares) Balderas; 16 grandchildren, Michael Bodden, Mary H. Bodden, Jo Ann, Ana, Guillermo, David, Samantha, Denisse V. Bodden, Crystal Bodden, Amber Bodden, Christopher Bodden, Rosa Lee, Daniel, Juan T., Emilio E. (Rose Marie ) Chaycoj, Ruperto C. Chaycoj; 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Committal will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
