Patricia Rushman

Patricia Ann Rushman, 82, of Ottumwa, died at 1:15 a.m. October 22, 2020 at Oskaloosa Care Center. She was born July 8, 1938 in Ottumwa to Leo and Beulah Bollman Welch. She married Egon Rushman June 1, 1957. A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Patricia attended Ottumwa Heights College. She had worked at Woolworths, and later for Ottumwa Schools as a baker in the cafeterias of Washington Jr. High, Evans Jr. High, and Ottumwa High School. Patricia had attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ottumwa and the services held by St. Mary’s Catholic Church at the Oskaloosa Care Center. She loved to square dance and attend her grandchildren’s ball games. Surviving is her husband of 63 years, Egon; twin daughters, Kim (Allen) Jones of Floris and Brenda (Jim) Farnsworth of Elkhorn, NE; two sons, Mark Rushman of Eldon and Jim (Lori) Rushman of Ottumwa; 8 grandchildren, Jason Jones, Mindy Royster, Jeremy Farnsworth, Izahia Rushman, Kinzy Rushman, Brandon Rushman, Josie Lynch, Leah Rushman; and several great-grandchildren. Limited open visitation for friends will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 25th at Reece Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rfh-ia.com. Private funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 26th at Reece Funeral Home with Fr. Troy Richmond officiating.
