Gale Norman Warren, 82, of West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away Thursday October 22, 2020 in Herrin Hospital at 3:15a.m. Gale was born July 29, 1938 in West Frankfort to Harry and Veneda (Sargent) Warren. Gale was a U.S. Marine, 32nd Degree Mason - Masonic Lodge 64 Benton, Illinois, and a Shriner. He loved bass fishing. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Lynn McGar; parents; brother, Larry Warren. Gale is survived by his son, Eric Dean (Tina Volanski) Warren; sister, Sherry (Loren :Hap") Hanna; three grandchildren: Ryan McGar, Jennifer McGar, and Aftyn Volanski; two great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Myrna Warren; niece, Kristen Hanna; nephews: Brad & Bruce Warren and Craig Hanna. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. Monday October 26, 2020 in Union Funeral Home - West Frankfort, Illinois with Brad Warren officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00p.m. prior to the service.
