Angeline Margaret Rapiti, age 96, passed away in Warren, Michigan, on October 20, 2020. Angeline was born in 1924. She grew up during the great depression with her loving parents, and her four siblings. They were a very close family. She worked at J.L. Hudson’s during the 1950’s. She met her future husband Lester in 1957 and they married the following year. They had one son together, Frank, in 1965. Lester suffered a stroke in 1972, and Angeline devoted all of her time and effort to taking care of him for five years, and also raising their son. Lester passed away in 1977.Angeline became involved in the church and in the Widow’s and Widower’s clubs, where she devoted a lot of her time while also raising her son. She began working at H&R Block in the late 1980’s. A job she really enjoyed.Through the 1990’s and 2000’s she enjoyed some traveling and doing things with her son and her brothers (Andy and Pete). Through her later years she had some health issues but with her son’s help she made it through most of them before she passed away at the age of 96 this year. Instate will be on Saturday, October 24, at 9:30 am until the time of the funeral mass at 10:30 am, at St. Martin de Porres, 31555 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan.
