Juanita S. Sullivan Obituary

JUANITA (KELLY) SULLIVAN LIMESTONE, ME & NOTTINGHAM, NH Limestone, ME & Nottingham, NH – Juanita “Sally" Sullivan, 77, departed her loving family Saturday, October 17, 2020. She was born February 8, 1943 in Limestone to the late John E. and Gladys J. (Bell) Kelly. Sally is predeceased by both parents, her beloved husband, Richard H. Sullivan originally of Boston MA; her brother, Clayton Kelley of Limestone; her sister, Carolyn (Kelly) Withem of Limestone. Sally proudly co-owned and operated Kelley’s Restaurant on Main Street, Limestone, along with her partner in crime and sister-in-law, the late Carol (Knight) Kelley, for numerous years. She loved her community and the people in it, serving up light-hearted fun and sass along with delicious homemade dishes. Sally enjoyed an assortment of crafting activities. She was most notably very skilled in crocheting, creating amazing and beautiful doilies and table runners for friends and family. Sally loved camping her summers away at Trafton Lake, welcoming and socializing with all who stopped by, sparking spontaneous potluck events, and leading her crew in heartfelt and sometimes robust, karaoke sessions. She accumulated a multitude of friends in her life’s journey. To know her was to love her. She in turn, loved you all too…unconditionally. Sally is survived by her great aunt, Wyona O'Neal of Caswell; her son, Jeff Sullivan and his wife Lisa (Marquis) Sullivan of Nottingham, NH; her daughter, Sue (Sullivan) Trombley and her fiancé Stephen Day of Pittsfield, NH; a granddaughter, Danyelle Sullivan and her boyfriend Geoff Delisle of Nottingham, NH; a grandson, Derek Sullivan and his wife Lynsie (Kane) Sullivan; along with one very precious great grandson, Kade Jeffrey Robert Sullivan, all of Nottingham, NH. Add to this family bouquet several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Family meant the world to Mom, and she so greatly loved you all. A graveside service at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Limestone will be planned for the late spring/summer of this coming year (2021) Details will be announced via phone and/or social media as soon the date and time are determined. Generous, Loving – Humorous and Kind. This loss is truly heavy in our hearts. She was the best Mom ever, and she will never be forgotten. “Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket—never let it fade away"….
