Ashley Nicole Hays, 27, of Flemington, WV, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 20,2020. She was born at Winston Salem, NC on May 13, 1993, daughter of Carl Francis Hays of Flemington and Virginia Ann “Jenny” Hays of Flemington. In addition to her parents Ashley is survived by daughter Hazlie Grace; brother Brandon Scott Hays of Flemington; grandmother Lillian Kyle of Flemington; uncles: David Kyle (Toby) of NC, Eugene Hays (Pam) of Flemington, Dale Hays (Lesa) of Grafton, James Hays (Jen-Naye)of Galloway, and Donald Hays (Jeanie) of Flemington; great-aunt Vivian Newhouse of Keyser; and great-uncle Jim Newhouse of Keyser. Ashley was preceded in death by her brother Christopher Stephen Hays; maternal grandfather John Kyle; paternal grandparents David Jackson and Elnora Hays; and uncle Johnny Lee Kyle. Ashley was a graduate of Grafton High School and was currently working on getting her CNA license. She enjoyed 4-wheeler riding, her dog “Gracie,” and volunteering at the Flemington EMS. Ashely loved her family and friends and always “lit up the room” for those around with her charm. Cremation services will take place and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
