Arnold J. Foppe, age 85, of St. Louis, MO, died Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born September 5, 1935 in St. Louis, the son of the late Arnold H. and Laurene (Natz) Foppe. He married Marilyn Ilg. She survives. Besides, Mrs. Foppe, he is survived by two daughters: Pamela (Josh) Hickey and Jennifer (Tom) Treiber; one son, A.J. Foppe; Jacques Natz, who was just like a son; seven grandchildren: James, Jacob, Taylor, Kaitlyn and Alyssa Hickey, Gabrielle Foppe and Trace Treiber; and two sisters-in-law: Lorraine Foppe and Mary Foppe. Arnold was a dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Don Foppe and Neal Foppe. Arnold was a member of Delta Zeta Kappa Fraternity for over 65 years. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church, 4900 Ringer Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129. Immediately after mass, family and friends are meeting at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for an 11:30 committal service with Military Honors.
