Mr. James “Brandon” Cole Collicott passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 37 years. He was born April 11, 1983 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Eddie Hammond and Krista Collicott-Silva. Brandon spent his first 15 years living in Jackson, Michigan and the next 22 years in Lansing, Michigan. He went to many schools, worked with a big bunch of friends at Arby’s. Brandon loved to roller blade, roller skate, play football, poker, and Madden with his kids. He was quiet until you got to know him. Brandon fixed all the neighborhood kids’ bikes. Brandon was so handy; he took apart the bathroom sink at the age of 2 years old. He leaves to cherish his memory six children, daughter, Avery Collicott; sons, James Adam Collicott, Aaron Brent Collicott, Damione Collicott, Brendan Collicott and Braedon Collicott; nieces, Jenna, Dava, Hailey and Aubree; nephews, Chase, Aiden, Liam, Kason and Jameson; aunt, Cassie Hammett; cousins, Angela Hammett, Sydney Newsom, Brent George and Andrea Hammett; many other relatives and friends including special friends, WUP BOYS; the Arby’s Crew; mothers of his children, Heather Jurasek and Ashley Desy; and his lifelong friend, Samantha Horton. He was preceded in death by Eddie Hammond, Greg Stacy, Renee Desy, Juan Silva, Sheryl Rives, Marcia Hammett and Camille Owens and Rebecca Kowal.
