Dorothea LaJune DeLoach

Dorothea LaJune Pate DeLoach, 91, went to be with Lord on October 19, 2020. A Graveside service will be held at noon on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Merigold Cemetery with Paul Balducci Jr. officiating. Due to the Covid pandemic this will be immediate family only. Dorothea was born to Denton and Myrtice Pate on August 6, 1929 in Merigold, MS. She married Quitman DeLoach Sr. February 28, 1957 in Rosedale, MS. She enjoyed gardening, DSU girls’ basketball, and word search puzzles. She also loved a good ride around town. She was a member of Merigold Baptist Church. Dorothea biggest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Quitman DeLoach, Sr. Dorothea is survived by daughters, Paula Pate and Martha Anne Fioranelli; sons, Paul Balducci Jr., John Balducci, and Quitman DeLoach Jr.; brother, Tom Pate; sisters, Jerrie Coslet and Myrtice Adams; grandchildren, Payton Rogers, Ben Balducci, Eric Fioranelli, Spencer Balducci, Andrew Balducci, Morgan Horton, and Mary Catherine Waddell; 13 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Merigold Baptist Church.
