Robert R. Champagne, 85, of Wolfeboro, NH passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Genesis, Wolfeboro Bay, Wolfeboro, NH.

He was born September 8, 1935 in Peabody, MA the son of the late Herbert and Dorothy (Spence) Little.  He had lived in Danvers, MA for several years and after his marriage in 1954.

Bob later joined the US Army in 1957 where he served for 20 years as a Recruiting Career Counselor, retiring in 1977.  He also served in the US Marine Corp Reserves from 1952 to 1957.  He later worked with CETA in Carroll County and later as a classroom proctor at Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, NH.  Other of Bob’s work includes working at the Lakes Region Greyhound Park; NH Employment Security; Veterans Administration in Manchester, Spectrum Photo, Wolfeboro, NH, Nordic Skier, Wolfeboro, NH, Camp Belknap, Tuftonboro, NH and King Pine Ski Resort, Madison, NH, Kingswood Golf Club, Wolfeboro, NH. 

He was a member of the Wolfeboro Lions Club, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Harriman Hale Post #18, Wolfeboro, NH, the Kingswood Golf Club, Wolfeboro, NH and a devoted member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Wolfeboro, NH.

He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to Fish, Golf, Ski and going out in the RV.

He is survived by his wife Ann (Piper) Champagne, Wolfeboro, NH and their children; Charles H Champagne and husband John Barnes, Rehoboth Beach, DE; and Scott R. Champagne and wife Kathy, Wolfeboro, NH and four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  He is also survived by his siblings; Ronnie Little, Paskalooga, Miss., his sisters Judy Diggs, Estelle Taft, Janet Firth, and a brother Steven Little all of Poquoson, VA .  He was predeceased by a daughter Sherri Ann Warren and husband Chad Warren.

Due to COVID -19, funeral services will be held at a later date.
