Filomena L. Uribe Obituary

Filomena L. Uribe, 77, of Allentown, formerly of New York, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020, in the Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem, where she was recovering from the affects of COVID-19. Born in Medellin Colombia and raised in the Catholic faith, she was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Allentown. She had worked for over 25 years for Interdynaminc Corporation in Brooklyn before retiring.


Survivors: She is survived by her children, Frank Alvarez and his wife, Grisel Cruz Alvarez; Vanessa Ortiz, and husband, Gregory Jean and 3 grandchildren, Austin Yannis Alvarez, Jaiden Jean and Justin Jean.


Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 9-10:15 A.M. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 336 N. 4th Street, Allentown. Rite of Committal and entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.


Due to COVID-19 restriction, Masks and Social Distancing will be observed in the funeral home and at church.
