Perry William Harmon

Perry William Harmon, beloved son of the late Howard and Shirley Harmon, was born on August 1, 1961 in Jenkins Bridge, Virginia. He peacefully departed this life on October 17, 2020 in Cape Charles, Virginia. Perry received his formal education in the public schools of Accomack County, Virginia. Upon graduation, he began working for the Eastern Shore Community Service Board in Exmore, Virginia. He held this position until his health began to fail. In his leisure, Perry enjoyed planting flowers, making clay sculptures, bird houses, and bowling. He also loved to watch tv, his favorite show was Scooby Doo, and he enjoyed riding horses. Perry was a participant in the local Special Olympics for many years and truly enjoyed doing so. He also had a love for hats and watches and possessed quite a collection. In addition to his parents, Perry was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Lee Harmon. He leaves to mourn: three sisters, Connie Williams of Nelsonia, VA, Willie Cropper of New Church, VA, and Aretha (Ervin) Fedderman of Melfa, VA; three aunts, Faye Frazier of Jenkins Bridge, VA, Effie Mitchell of Brooklyn, NY, and Anne Tull of Wattsville, VA; three uncles, Lester (Diane) Holden of Makemie Park, VA, Joe Holden of Pocomoke, MD, and Randy Holden of Virginia Beach, VA; dedicated caregiver, John Tomlin and his family; special nieces and nephew, Elderick, Ashley, and Sheena; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
