Maggie Ree Anderson as born on March 30, 1945 in Jackson, Mississippi to Ernest McLaurin and  Bessie Ervin.  
She attended school in Jackson, Mississippi. She was married to Moses Anderson for 48 years.  They had three daughters, Carol Anderson Harris, Miranda Anderson Barlow and Kathi Anderson. 

Grandchildren: Michael, Tanisha, Roderick, Amber, Ronshe, Brittany, Ray, Peighton, Caleb, Jordyn, Jasmyn, and Amir and 17 great-grand children

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moses Anderson, and her 5 siblings, Walter Lee McLaurin, Ernest McLaurin, Linda Jean McLaurin, Buevetta Falconer, and Melvin Jean Pitts.

She is survived by her mother in law, who was more like a mother, Lilie Mae Aldridge of Jackson Mississippi, her 3 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grands.
