Miss Frances Jewel Brown age 79, passed away October 18th 2020 at Bradford Care Center in Newton County, MS. A visitation will be held at Dennis Cemetery in Lake, MS on October 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11AM with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM. Brother Bill Prestage will officiate. Miss Brown was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS other than spending the last 20 years at Bedford Care Center. She was a member of Magnolia Heights Baptist Church in Forest, MS. She loved playing Bingo and coloring at the activities center at Bedford Care Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Minnie Lou Brown; two brothers, John “Buddy” Brown and Claude Brown; and her sister, Evon Suber. She is survived by her Brother, Bobby Brown (Sue) of Morton, MS; two sisters in law, Annie Brown of Lawrence, MS and Betty Brown of Laurel, MS and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
