Services for Shayde Michael Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Brother Grady Dodge officiating. The family request visitation be held at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 pm. Due to Covid restrictions, the family requests that visitation be come and go, so that all will have an opportunity to pay their respects. Social distancing and mask are required. Mr. Johnson, 25, of Deville passed from this life, Thursday, October 15, 2020. Shayde was in the 1086th Transportation Company, located in Bunkie, LA. With the 1086th, he did a 12 month tour in Kuwait. Upon return from his tour, he transferred to the 199th Infantry Brigade located in Alexandria, LA. Shayde was in the Louisiana Army National Guard, and worked as a diesel mechanic from 2014-2020 at CSMS. Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Charles Johnson, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Diana Welch. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kelsie Cole Johnson; son, Eli Johnson; daughters, Myla Johnson, Charlee Johnson and Remi Johnson; step-sons, Ryder Dupree, Kainan Dupree; step-daughter, Raelynn Dupree; parents, Charles Johnson, Jr. and fiancée, Inga Sandifer and Angela Courville Wright; step-father, Kemp Wright; sisters, Noelle Johnson, Madeline Wright; brother, Bryce Johnson; step-sister, Payton Sandifer; paternal grandparents, Cathy Breland and husband, Ron; maternal grandfather, Donald Welch; host of other family members and friends.
