Linda Scronce Seagle

Linda Scronce Seagle, 77, of Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1943, in Lincoln County to the late Marvin Lee Scronce and Essie Haynes Scronce. Linda was an active member of Reepsville Baptist Church in Vale where she served as church secretary for more than 20 years. She was also a member of the mission team and Young at Heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Charles Scronce and Joe David Scronce, and sisters; Nannie Bell Mahala and Thelma Elizabeth Day. Those left to cherish her memory are; Husband of 57 years: Freddie Dale Seagle of the home Sons: Rodney Dale Seagle and wife Teresa of Vale James Matthew Seagle, Sr. and wife Telisha of Maiden Daughter: Candace Dawn Seagle of Lincolnton Grandchildren: Allison Seagle Brewer and husband Nicholas of Vale, James Matthew Seagle, Jr. of Maiden, and Andrew James Seagle of Maiden Numerous Nieces and Nephews Fur Baby: Precious Fur Great-grandbaby: Oreo Clover A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Reepsville Baptist Church in Vale. Rev. Jeff Hull, Rev. Dr. Foyd Bennett, and Rev. James Matthew Seagle, Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Reepsville Baptist Church.
