It is with great sadness the family of Lydia Appleby of Burin announce her passing at Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank at the age of 87 years. Leaving to mourn with fond loving memories sons Barry (Faye) of Burin and Robert (Goldie) of Cormack; grandchildren Stephen (Leona) of Cormack, Elizabeth of Grand Falls, Renee of Burin and Bradley of Burin; great grandchild Andrea of Cormack plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by husband William; sisters Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Minnie and Eliza; brothers James, Gabriel, Robert and infant baby Hodder. The Appleby Family will be accepting visitors from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Tuesday, October 20th and Wednesday, October 21st 2-4PM and 7-9PM. In keeping with COVID 19 regulations a walk through visitation will take place and a maximum of 20 people at one time will be permitted. Funeral Service will take place from Serenity Chapel on Thursday, October 22 at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point. Those who wish to attend the funeral, must register with the family at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin .
