Joan Marie Miller

MILLER, Joan Marie - age 87, of Linden, died October 17, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MI. Visitation will be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Stroke Association (www.stroke.org). Joan was born September 13, 1933 in Tweed, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Wilfred and Genevieve (O'Neill) Allore. She married Hugh Joseph Miller on October 12, 1963 and he preceded her in death on January 9, 1995. Joan loved her grandchildren dearly and is survived by:  two sons, Hugh "Bill" (Bosiljka) Miller and John Miller; two grandsons, Luke and Sean Miller; siblings, Estelle Marechek, Ernest Allore, Shirley Stanger, Hugh Allore, Louise Soberel, and William Cooper; sister-in-law, Edith Lennox. She was also preceded in death by: siblings, Fred Allore, Monica Melick, Clifford Allore, Harold Allore, Louis Allore, Phillip Allore, Patrick Allore, and Jerome Allore.
