Vonda Lee Kinder
Vonda Lee Kinder, 81, of Aberdeen, SD, died Friday, October 16, 2020 at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen. Private family graveside services will be held. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Vonda Lee Kaiser was born on March 7, 1939, to George and Margaret (Sautner) Kaiser in Brentford, SD. She grew up and attended school in Aberdeen and graduated from Central High School. On June 20, 1959, Vonda married Robert Kinder at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aberdeen. This is where they made their home and raised their five children. Vonda spent the majority of her life as a homemaker caring for their children. Robert and Vonda were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Robert died in 2011. Vonda was a very loving and caring person. She enjoyed baking, especially Christmas goodies, liked playing Yahtzee, and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all, Vonda cherished time with her family and grandchildren. Grateful for having shared Vonda’s life are her children: Karen (Randy) Utecht, Robert Jr. (Mary) Kinder, Kristi (Bruce) Fischer, Tracy (Sandra) Kinder, Aimee (Tom) Ullrich; grandchildren : Jessica Utecht-Whillock (Tom Whillock), Mitchell Utecht, Joel (Erin) Kinder, Keshia Kinder, Justin (Bailey) Fischer, Jacob Kinder, Erin Kinder, Courtney Ullrich, Zachary Ullrich, and Connor Ullrich, great-grandchildren: Grace Utecht-Juntunen, Terrell Wojahn, and Karter Hedges; and siblings, Lois (Ed) Ell and Larry (Jan) Kaiser. Preceding Vonda in death are her husband, Robert Kinder; parents, George and Margaret Kaiser; grandson, Tyler Fischer; and siblings: Pat Stotz, Bob Kaiser, LeRoy Kaiser.Obituary
