Obituary

Meagan Erin Soik “Maggie”, 21, was taken from us Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Maggie was born April 7, 1999 in Dearborn, Michigan.  She is leaving behind her mom and dad Kristen and John Krawczak, her 2 brothers Evan and Jack Krawczak, a sister Kim Kimble, her father Anthony Daniel Soik IV and wife Nancy, grandparents Kat O’Connell and Rick Deeley, best friends Alicia and Nick Woods, her cousin Riley Lipka, who was truly like a sister, many cousins, aunts and uncles, and her fur babies Harry dog, baby Max, Lincoln, and Paul.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Anthony and Patricia Soik, Albin and Victoria Krawczak, and her “Nanny” Marion O’Connell.

Maggie graduated in 2017 from Alpena High School.  She was living her best life doing all the things she loved.  Adventuring, all things nature, painting her canvases, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and baking, making a cozy home, and babying her most recent obsession, her houseplants.

Maggie had the biggest heart, loving and rescuing every living thing she found from bunnies to chickens, dogs and cats, turtles and even worms.  Her animals meant the world to her.

Maggie loved life, she had such joy in her heart, a free spirit enjoying all the simple things.  Her beautiful smile and laughter were so genuine........a truly happy soul.  She was the sweetest, most caring compassionate girl, always seeing the best in everyone and wanting to make the most of every moment.  She was so sentimental and loved anything “family”.

Nothing will ever be the same without her in this world.  Heaven gained an angel so pure and sweet and I know she is up there watching over us all.  Rest In Peace my sweet Maggie, you will be loved and missed every second of every day.

Visitation will take place at Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-8pm with a parish prayer service at 7pm.  Visitation will continue on Friday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 2pm until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 3pm with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.

Inurnment: Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Maple Ridge
