Alexander "Alex" Milho Obituary

Alexander "Alex" Milho died peacefully in Hershey Pennsylvania on October 14, 2020 after enjoying a long, great life. Alex was born on November 28, 1930 in Kilauea, HI, the son of Antone and Margaret Quinones Milho. Alex was a brilliant engineer and mechanic, a veteran of the US Army, as well as a devout Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a creative man of many passions: an avid woodworker, gardener, fisherman, and hunter, to name a few. He was a western film enthusiast who loved any food that was sweet, and his hot peppers. Alex was a lively storyteller with many to share - stories about growing up in Hawaii, about spearfishing as a young man, and his time spent in service of his country. He was generous with his time, and loved sharing his life and big laughs with those around him. Alex was often found tinkering with his machines in his workshop, and he took pride in all that he built. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in St. Andrew Cemetery, St. Andrew Drive, Waynesboro, with Rev. Robert Malagesi, MSSCC officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268. Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.bowersoxfuneralhomes.com
