In 1987, she gave birth to her daughter, Calestine “Cali”. She met Thomas Rice and was united in marriage in 1988. They made their home in Fullerton, where she worked at the nursing home. In 1993, they moved to Aurora where they resided for 26 years before moving back to Fullerton. She was a bus driver for Fullerton Public Schools before resigning due to health. Chris’s absolute love in her life was her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy, and she would do anything for them. She also loved to camp, fish, and Husker football.
