<p>Douglas C. DeVoss, 60, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, at Avera St. Luke&rsquo;s Hospital in Aberdeen.</p> <p>His committal service will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen with Pastor John Hisel, of First United Methodist Church, officiating.</p> <p>Schriver&rsquo;s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th&nbsp;Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.</p> <p>Family and friends may sign Douglas&rsquo; online guestbook and also view his service via the live stream service link at www.schriversmemorial.com.</p> <p>Douglas Charles DeVoss was born November 27, 1959, to Charles and Alice (Geist) DeVoss in Faulkton, SD.&nbsp;&nbsp;At a young age, Douglas moved with his family to Aberdeen, where he attended special education classes.&nbsp;&nbsp;He lived in Redfield, SD for a short time before returning to Aberdeen.&nbsp;&nbsp;While in Aberdeen, Douglas lived and worked at The Adjustment Training Center (now known as Aspire) for many years.&nbsp;&nbsp;He continued to make Aspire his home until the time of his death.</p> <p>Douglas enjoyed riding his bike and doing yard work.&nbsp;&nbsp;He also enjoyed collecting toy cars and toy horses.&nbsp;&nbsp;He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Grateful for sharing Douglas&rsquo; life is his mom, Alice DeVoss of Aberdeen; his siblings:&nbsp;&nbsp;Mike DeVoss and Troy DeVoss, both of Warner, SD, Charlene (Jeff) Smith of East Peoria, IL and Pam (Jeff) Block of Greenwood, WI; and several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Charles DeVoss.</p> <hr /> <p><iframe allow="fullscreen;" height="360" src="https://vcloud.blueframetech.com/broadcast/embed/202351?autoplay=1" style="border:0;overflow:hidden;" width="640"></iframe></p>

Douglas C. DeVoss, 60, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen.
