Esther Irene Hansen

Edmore-Esther Irene (Tupper) Hansen, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gratiot. She was born July 7, 1935, in Blanchard to Harrison and Leona (Musson) Tupper. She was raised in the Blanchard area, graduating with the class of 1953. On January 1, 1954 Esther married the love of her life Gerald (Jerry) Hansen and had three children Steve, Roxanne, and Ron. She was adored by her eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Esther was a homemaker where she loved being at home with her children. She loved playing cards, going to house parties, fishing, and collecting dimes and cardinals. She was always the life of the party no matter the event. Most importantly she loved being with her family and friends. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Edmore. She is survived by her children, Steve (Mary Callahan) of Elwell, Roxanne (Paul) Daniel of Stanton, Ron (Char) Hansen of Pinehurst, TX; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Gerald (Jerry) Hansen; parents, Harrison and Leona (Musson) Hansen. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with Pastor Bill Twynham officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 AM until time of service. Those wishing to donate in Esther’s name should considered Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Edmore.
